This true black huacaya male has several
generations of true black behind him as well as some of the most important
genetics in North American alpacas - Hemingway, Peruvian Ion, 4P Legacy,
Snowmass Millenium and Peruvian Guellermo. It's our hope to combine accoyo and Hemingway genetics with deeply lined black to produce true blue black huacayas that wil consistently produce black offspring. It will be fun to see what Toby can
produce for our Basic Black breeding program.

Peruvian Augustina is considered to be
one of the finest colored Peruvian female suris to enter the United States. She
only had 3 offspring before she died. Two are still living and breeding -
DDF Macgyver and DDF Sophia. Have you heard of Macgyver? He is the product of
Augustina's mating to Bruxo. Little sister Sophia is the product of Augustina's mating to
Accoyo Inca. Sophia is undoubtably the most treasured female at Wings and a
Prayer Alpacas. We have watched and waited for
one of her offspring to be available and were so happy when Bet on Black was
produced. Now Black's daddy is the one and only WWR Prince Greystone, the rose
gray champion offspring of 4P Condor and GLL Kamara. Perhaps you've heard of
them as well!! The pedigree here is incredible - Accoyo Inca, Augustina, uncle
Macgyer, Condor, Kamara, uncle Seattle Mist, sire Prince Greystone. And the

This gorgeous suri junior herdsire is a boy who you will want to
watch for. We feel that the match between Joy and Ebony Icon was perfect and
Dodger's true black color was no surprise. The greasy, lusterious well locked
fleece was no surprise either. Joy has now produced black both times when she
was bred to black and Ebony Icon is putting a lot of dark babies on the ground -
even out of light colored females. Dodger certainly has strong black genetics
and fleece and conformation that places him in the running for herdsire
distinction. His show career won't begin until next fall because of his late
birthday, but we feel pretty confident that it will be worth the wait!
We
will be keeping this male for our black breeding program. His
Angel/Borealis/Ebony Icon black genetics are a good match for the Bet on Black
female offspring that will start arriving this fall. Half interest is available
at this time for $12000.

We have never seen fiber like this before. Not just the coverage and density, but the incredible lock structure! This is a guy who is going to take our breeding program to a whole new level. He culminates 25 years of the Tillman Suri Alpaca breeding program from two of our favorite Tillman animals - Oh Baby from Rocky Red and Rewind. His show career so far has earned him blue ribbons and color championships. We are really happy to have him at Sahalie. He is co-owned with Alpaca Trading Post in South Carolina and will winter there and spend summers here. Outside breedings are now available for a limited time at either location for $2500.
